Apparently there was a contest for the best poster for the Toys for Tots. I got first place. Doesn't quite seem fair, since I was the only one who did my poster in advance. Mine was supposed to be an example and "inspire people to put some effort into them." Matt seemed very pleased with it and actually brought this "award" out to the car when I went to pick up Katherine (she had Scrapbooking club). I tried to talk Elton into taking the TV down from the fireplace so I could use the place of honor. That didn't work. I tried to talk my dad into putting it in his office- No Go. I guess it will just have to fall victim to Decluttering 2009. Oh well- its the thought that counts!
