You can't be hyper-critical- YES I know the top of the tree leans- I think its missing a piece or something- It's incredibly ghetto but each year I end up having to stuff something between the top piece and the rest of the tree- this year its a black trashbag! LOL And I am well aware that the top of the tree has very few ornaments- the stinking tree is too tall- It is massive, and even standing on a chair I can barely reach. Y'all know I am too lazy to go get a ladder. It never fails neither Elton or Chris are around when the girls and I decorate the tree (I think they plan it that way!) We love it flaws and all.
I'm so glad that the Christmas decorations are up! I'm starting to feel festive! Elton was a sweetheart and got right on the icicle lights- I didn't even have to nag (yell, threaten etc ;0) ) I'm a little bummed about only having one tree this year- but with the addition of the loveseat and the baby swing- I just couldn't figure out a way to have 2... I'll have to check out the after Christmas clearance and see if I can find a 9 foot skinny tree! I hated to have to combine ornament. Usually the tree in the dining room has all my "elegant ornaments"- it had a theme- gold and burgandy. The tree in the living room had all of our colorful ornaments and all the stuff the kids have made. Ideally I would like to have 4 trees! One for each of those- 1 primitive tree (One year I had 3 trees, a primitive one in the family room until that was converted into Brianna's bedroom) and a tree with only snowmen and snowflakes- I think that would be awesome- I love snowmen!
