This little bad luck streak is getting pretty old. I thought it was over today- I took a TON of pictures- not sure if any of them are "Christmas card quality"- I have yet to look at them on the computer. Dad and Janet are home from their cruise- so that means Rocky is going home (Yeah!) Although honestly the only thing I have to do is vacuum up the dog hair- Chris walks him, Katherine feeds and waters him, and Brianna is in charge of treats. But then I get an email from one of my professors telling me my paper was good and now all I need to do is write a reflection on the class and post it to the BlackBoard. That sucks- I thought I was done... We decided to drive home the scenic was and take the ferry. We've been meaning to do that forever- so it was nice, the girls thought it was really cool. Elton and I went to the grocery store when we got home, and we were unpacking the van. The back hatch had been open so long- the light went off, and (this is so stupid- its embarresing to write about!) I was getting the last of the bags and had set a bottle of apple juice on the bumper so I could close the hatch, it started to roll off so I stepped in close to hold it on the bumper with my leg, and slammed the hatch down on the bridge of my nose! I was waiting for Bill Engvall to step out of the darkness and say "Here's your sign." Of course Elton was trying to find the keys to unlock the front door and witnessed the whole thing. To his credit- he was concerned and didn't point, laugh, or call me names. It hurts REALLY bad, and I am so hoping that it is not broken. It feels weird- as much as I can stand to touch it that is. I'm waiting to wake up with 2 black eyes tomorrow. That would just be the icing on the cake! We have a million things to do this week- 4H, YouthFit, go see the play Charlotte's Web at Barton College, and Brianna's Christmas program at Preschool this week.
